Calgary, Canada—Athentech Imaging, the leader in Intelligent Image Correction, announced version 3 of its Perfectly Clear iPhone and iPad apps.
This new version, which can be downloaded for $2.99 in the App Store, is packed with new features, a unique breakthrough technology, and an enhanced user experience. V3.0 is a universal app with a completely redesigned interface for iPhones and iPads that is now more intuitive than previous versions.
New to the app is de-purple correction, which fixes the phenomenon on iPhone 5 and 4 devices that occurs when the camera is pointed toward the sun or other bright light sources and results in an extremely purple image. With one click, Perfectly Clear corrects a previously unusable photo. Noise removal is now included in the purchase price of the app, not as an additional purchase.
Perfectly Clear V3 features four presets: Fix, the default preset that is suitable for most situations; Fix Dark, which quickly fixes dark or poorly exposed images taken with bright backgrounds; Fix Tint, which allows the true colors to shine through when unwanted tint is removed; and Beautify, which automatically smoothes skin, corrects skin tone, brightens and enlarges eyes and whitens teeth.
In all, there are 12 patented image corrections that are applied automatically and can be adjusted as needed: Perfect Exposure; Depth/Contrast; Color Vibrancy; Sharpening; Tint Removal; Noise Removal; Skin Tone; Perfectly Smooth; Eye Enhance; Eye Enlarge; Teeth Whitening; and De-Purple.
Once corrections are applied to a photo, users can save the new image to their iOS device and then post it on Facebook and Twitter, or e-mail it. athentech.com
