Audio Expo North America (AXPONA) Monday was named an official partner event of CE Week. The Expo will be held at the Affinia Hotel on 7th Avenue in New York June 24-25.
CustomRetailer magazine’s Technology Lifestyle Summit, produced by Editor-in-Chief Maureen Jensen, will kick off the event with the media on the morning June 24. The show will then open to consumers later that day and for the entire day on June 25.
“Our goal is to bring back to New York a unique and intimate hotel demo experience that the market has long demanded, combining the finest audio/video with the latest advancements in residential technologies,” Carol Campbell, producer of the Technology Lifestyle Summit and publisher of CustomRetailer magazine, said.
“With the combination of these two events, along with the excitement of CE Week, we are delivering one big show for this major metropolitan marketplace.”
The event follows CEA Line Shows, which will take place June 22-23, as part of the full CE Week (June 20-25).
“Over 100 high-end audio and technology exhibitors, including retailers, distributors and manufacturers, are expected to fill the exhibit space and demo suites at this convenient midtown hotel during these two days to introduce the high performance home entertainment experience to the media, trade and consumers,” Steve Davis, producer of AXPONA New York City, said.
“With the addition of CEA Demo Suites and with the marketing of CE Week and the industry’s leading publication, we anticipate a sold-out exhibit and capacity crowd.”
CE Week is a weeklong, citywide event in New York City, including CEA Line Shows and Digital Downtown Conference, CEA Demo Suites and Conference. The event is organized in association with CEA, along with Martin Porter Associates and Consumer Technology Publishing Group/NAPCO, publisher of Dealerscope, Custom Retailer and E-Gear Magazines.
