booq Unveils Python catch Contemporary Carrying Solution for Photographers

2009

Sierra Madre, CA—Designer of fashionably functional bags and carrying cases for creatives, booq unveiled the newest addition to the photography-oriented Python collection: the Python catch. It features rugged, sustainable materials, customizable organization and space to accommodate two DSLR cameras, four lenses and a MacBook Pro Retina.

“Modern photographers are constantly on the move and are carrying much more with them than just camera gear,” said Kema Subsomboon, lead product designer at booq. “We designed this bag to be slim and comfortable so it can shift from an indoor shoot to an outdoor adventure, and accommodate everything from cameras to lenses to a laptop for those times you need to edit on the spot.”

The Python catch’s main compartment has three primary, densely padded dividers and four padded subdividers that users can configure to fit their gear of choice. The interior flap includes transparent pockets so users can store accessories without losing track of them, and a zippered pocket on the back stores a 15-inch laptop. For frequent flyers, the bag includes luggage trolley compatibility and an adjustable padded carry strap.

The bag’s exterior offers weatherproof protection, and its fabric is made from 47% recycled PET (plastic bottles) and 53% cotton. For extensive outdoor conditions, a rain cover with reflective elements provides protection and visibility in low light. Exterior storage includes a top zipper pocket, two side pockets and a zippered pocket on the front of the bag for pens, keys or a phone.

Each Python catch comes with a five-year warranty and a unique Terralinq serial number—a service provided by booq to help owners recover lost bags. The Python catch retails for $295. booqbags.com
