Canon U.S.A. this week announced the launch of the Canon Information and Imaging Solutions, Inc, a new subsidiary dedicated, the company says, to “expanding Canon’s overall solutions business.”
Seymour Liebman will be the group's president with Canon U.S.A. CEO Joe Adachi serving as chairman.
“Canon is pleased to launch Canon Information and Imaging Solutions, which is ideally positioned to capitalize on the expanding solutions marketplace for a broad variety of Canon’s advanced imaging technologies,” Adachi said as part of the annoncement. “This new company will have a singular focus on the solutions and service business and create a strong foundation for developing new business segment.”
