New Details on CEA Line Shows and Digital Downtown

The Consumer Electronics Association Thursday announced some of the events that will be taking place at the CEA Line Shows and Digital Downtown event in New York this June, as well as its accompanying trade show. The event is scheduled for June 10-11 in New York.

The product portion of the event is called the CEA Line Show, while the conference part is called Digital Downtown. 

The line show will feature displays from Toshiba, Cobra, Contour and Smartfish, as well as i-Stage competitors such as Boxee. The conference schedule has the theme “Consumer Tech Reality Check,” and will feature such presentations as "Cutting Edge Research in Today’s Consumer Tech Market,""Digital Downtown To Go" and "Variety 3D Panel."

 The events will be held on 34th St. and 5th Ave. in Manhattan. 

“The central location, major name exhibitors and compelling conference sessions make the CEA Line Shows and Digital Downtown conference program a must-attend for industry professionals this June,” CEA President/CEO Gary Shapiro said as part of the announcement.

The event is produced by CEA in cooperation with Martin Porter & Associates, Brookfield Properties, owner of the World Financial Center, and Consumer Technology Publishing Group/NAPCO, publisher of Dealerscope, CustomRetailer, Picture Business and E-Gear magazines.
