hhgregg, an Indianapolis-based appliance and electronics leader, and E-Gear magazine, the source for intelligent, insightful information on consumer electronics and a sister magazine of Picture Business, announced a partnership that will allow E-Gear to offer free digital magazine subscriptions to hhgregg customers.

The digital E-Gear magazine will feature the latest news and reviews on the best and most interesting products the consumer electronics industry has to offer. The partnership with E-Gear provides hhgregg with an innovative, convenient way to further educate its customers about its wide selection of brand name products. All hhgregg stores currently showcase over 100 digital TVs and have more than 500 major appliances in stock every day.

“We are excited about our partnership with E-Gear as it allows us to provide added value to customers,” said Jeff Pearson, vice president of marketing for hhgregg. “At hhgregg we are committed to helping our customers make the best purchase decisions and we strongly believe that the articles and product reviews found in E-Gear’s digital magazine will provide valuable information, which in addition to our knowledgeable sales associates, will help our consumers find the products that best meet their needs.”

E-Gear’s digital magazines provide readers with a unique, interactive experience where they can flip through the magazine at their own pace in a format that is comfortable and entertaining, including an interactive table of contents, dynamic links to advertisers, video, audio, bookmarks and more. No files are downloaded and no plug-in software is required.

“We are excited about our partnership with hhgregg as it enables E-Gear magazine to significantly expand and grow our digital circulation and increases the reach for our advertising partners to a tech enthusiast audience,” said Rick Albuck, Senior Vice President & Publisher, E-Gear magazine.

E-Gear’s past issues will be archived and accessible to readers with all issues retaining the features of a current live issue.
