Taking High Speed Photography to New Levels

High speed photography has always been known as the place where science and art collide, offering incredible images that are not easily captured. A new product from Cognisys Inc. dubbed StopShot is promising to change that. The StopShot is an electronic timing system that the company claims is making one of the most challenging forms of photography far more easy.

“It can help any photographer who has a camera with a bulb or manual mode to capture events that are too fast to see, ranging from a splash of water, flying insects or even an exploding light bulb midway through the explosion,” the company said in a released statement.

StopShot is a flexible timing module designed specifically for taking high speed photographs. All that is needed to capture incredible images is a camera, an external flash, and the StopShot electronic trigger module. StopShot allows the use of a variety of triggers to fire up to three flashes (or other electronic devices) at any delay selected, including time lapse.

StopShot is available here. The entire StopShot module kits costs $350 and includes StopShot controller, power transformer, IR beam sensor, and three interface cables. Additional accessories and kits, including a water drop photo kit are also available.
