HP is planning a major advertising offensive attempting to push a new image focused on technology products, the Wall Street Journal reported this week.

The company is spending $40 million on the eight-week, multi-platform campaign, set to debut this weekend, using the slogan “Let's Do Amazing.” Rap legend Dr. Dre, comedian Rhys Darby and famed photographer Annie Leibovitz are among the stars of the television ads, which will air during the NCAA tournament and season finales of various TV shows this spring.

Ads will include Dr. Dre discussing his HP personal computer, and comical ad, with Darby, at a UPS distribution center.
