InfoTrends Announces 2007 DI Conference

1244

When InfoTrends’ “Digital Imaging Conference” began back in the early part of the decade, the focus was on preparing for the mainstream consumer adoption of digital cameras. While present day issues such as digital display, photo messaging, and image management were addressed, more attention was paid to traditional printing and photofinishing topics as the market grew by leaps and bounds.

Today, the industry finds itself investigating late adopter needs, and deliberating ways to monetize imaging beyond the points of capture and print. Every year this conference has stayed ahead of the trends, and prepared imaging executives for what’s to come. Organizers tell us that this year promises no less. This year’s event will be held September 19-20 at the Hyatt Regency, SFO Airport, Burlinghame, CA.

Among the long list of topics expected to be covered are the Digital Imaging Ecosystems – Thriving in World of Networked User-Generated Content; The Changing Face of Image Capture – Market Forecast and Consumer Usage Trends; New Photo Services for a Networked and Mobile World; The Home Photo Printer: Where Does it Fit in the Digital Imaging Ecosystem?; The Impact Of New Technology On Retail Photo Services; Opportunities Beyond Prints – Is there Life Beyond 4×6? and The Impact of Centralized Fulfillment and Digital Press Printing on the Photo Book Market, along with many more.
