Is Apple getting ready to put a camera on the iPod, thus shaking up the digital imaging sector? They are, according to multiple media reports this week.
According to Ars Technica, which cited multiple other reports, Apple has placed a huge order for camera modules, one larger than what would be needed just for iPhones. The plans, however, have not been confirmed by Apple.
The company is expected to announce its next wave of iPod products in the fall.
