The Nielsen Company has named Lauren Wendle Vice President of its newly expanded Nielsen Photo Group.
The announcement follows Nielsen's recent acquisition of Rangefinder Inc., publisher of Rangefinder and AfterCapture magazines, and owner of the Wedding and Portrait Photography International (WPPI) trade show and convention.
As vice president, Wendle will oversee and manage all properties under the Nielsen Photo Group and set a new direction for industry expansion through its existing titles and new business opportunities worldwide.
The PDN Outdoor Photo Expo is dedicated to the outdoor photography market, including travel, wildlife and adventure and will coincide with the Outdoor Retailer show, “bringing additional opportunities and benefits to the photo community,” the group explains.
