CEA Innovations Award Winner Lenovo along with the Wireless Business Owners Consortium (WiBOC) have signed on to be a part of Picture Business magazine and the Consumer Electronics Association’s (CEA) annual Spotlight on Imaging event at the 2009 International CES.

Lenovo is a PC and portable drive manufacturer with U.S. headquarters located in Morrisville, North Carolina. The company was just awarded one of CEA’s 2008 Innovation Awards for their new ThinkPad USB Portable Secure Hard Drive – a handheld drive that comes in 160GB and 320GB capacities that can be locked via a small keypad on the face of the device.

The Wireless Business Owners Consortium, WiBOC, is a service-focused trade association dedicated to representing Independent Wireless Resellers.  WiBOC provides a broad range of business strategies, educational services, and information on products and services that maximize dealer sales and profitability.

The Spotlight on Imaging event was launched in 2007 in an effort to continue to build “a better sense of community” for the digital imaging industry at the annual CE gathering in Las Vegas, NV. This year’s Spotlight will be held in the Connector between the South and Central Halls (Room S221) and will run from 3:30 -7 p.m. This compelling event will feature a tabletop exhibit area spotlighting some of the hottest DI products at the show from many of the industry’s top manufacturers. In addition to this, there will be an industry analyst roundtable discussion focusing on industry trends/revenue opportunities over the next several years.

The event will culminate with the CEA Digital Imaging Division reception from 5:30-7 p.m., a great networking opportunity in a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere. Organizers are billing the event as a one-stop shop for digital imaging attendees at CES and an event that should be the perfect “touch-point” digital imaging exhibitors have longed for at CES.
