Microsoft's retail store effort is set to double in size, from two to four.
The software giant, which opened its first retail stores last year in Scottsdale, Ariz. and Mission Viejo, Calif., will open locations in Denver and San Diego this summer, Business Insider reported Thursday. The chain will likely open in more places by the fall.
With help from some executives who helped launch Apple's retail stores, Microsoft entered the retail space with a similar concept last year.
