Some intriguing announcements from Panasonic included its rebranding of its plasma and LCD lines of TVs to the Viera line. Its new SD HD memory card is reportedly the first 32 GB memory card the size of a postage stamp. It can store up to 8 hours of HDTV video and 5.5 hours of full HDTV. The user can insert the SD card from a camera or camcorder directly into their Panasonic TV to immediately view photos and video.

The company’s integrated home theater with Blu-Ray comes with a flip down dock for iPods, a remote to control it and Bonus View. The Link to Cell Phone allows users to receive cell phone calls through a handset. Touted as ideal for people without landlines, it eliminates the reception problem that many have when trying to use cell phones in their homes.
