One of the few tech trade shows that has enjoyed an increase in both exhibitors and attendance over the last few years is the PhotoPlus Expo held annually in New York’s Jacob Javits in late October-early November.
A show that had long been renown for its hands-on workshops and design seminars, organizers have announced the addition of 11 different seminar tracks to choose from for the 2006 show schedule at Javits from November 2 – 4.
The new topics include: Lighting Masters (Michael Grecco), Stock Reports, Image Makers (Eric Meola), Photo Markets, Marketing (Santa Fe Center of Photography Portfolio Reviews – first time at PhotoPlus, available on a first come, first serve basis), It’s Your Business (Photography and Censorship Today, with W.M. Hunt as moderator), Technically Speaking, Input/Output (Making the Perfect Print, with Jeff Schewe), PhotoShop & Color Management, Workflow, and Hands-on.
Coming up with reasons to visit Manhattan in the fall is easy. The organizers of PhotoPlus are clearly working on making it even easier. Check out www.photoplusexpo.com to find out more.
