PNY Technologies got a unique honor this week when it was named “Flash Memory of Choice,” as well as a mission partner, by the National Geographic Society’s Emerging Explorers Program. PNY received the designation due to the foundation’s desire to find “corporate partners whose business practices align with the Society’s mission of inspiring people to care about the planet.”
The partnership is set to last for three years, PNY said.
Several new PNY flash memory products, including the Optima Pro Secure Digital and SDHC Class 6 cards, will be released as part of the initiative.
