Samsung has announced the upcoming launch of five new lenses, all of which are meant to work with the company's NX camera system. They join the five lenses introduced by the company last year.
The new lenses include the 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 ED OIS, the 16mm F2.4, the 60mm F2.8 Macro ED OIS SSA, the 85mm F1.4 ED SSA and the 16-80mm F3.5-4.5 OIS. They will arrive, respectively, in May, July, August, October and December. Pricing information was not announced.
“At Samsung we are committed to ensuring that we remain at the cutting edge of imaging technology, and these five new lenses are testament to that ambition and the growing strength of compact system camera photography,” said Mr. Hyunho Chung, executive vice president and head of the Digital Imaging Business, Samsung Electronics, said as part of the announcement.
