Samsung Demonstrates 64GB Chip

Samsung recently staged a demonstration of a new memory card chip that can hold 64GB of information. BBC News reported that chip, which can hold the equivalent of 80 DVDs, will likely reach market in 2009. The chip, if brought to market, would be the most powerful of its kind yet released. Toshiba is said to be working on a similar chip, also for release in 2009.
