Samsung has announced the release of the music video for indie band OK Go’s latest song, “Last Leaf.” The video was filmed using the new Samsung NX100 and is available to view today at the cre8yourworld.com site.
The “Last Leaf” video was made from thousands of photographs taken with the Samsung NX100, woven together to create a stop motion animation clip, demonstrating the NX100’s technical capabilities and creative versatility. The images were combined with hand-drawn animations created by the band, along with animator Geoff McFettridge. The collaboration marks a new artistic direction for OK Go, whose previous videos have been composed of one-take live-action clips.
