Spotlight on Imaging 2009 Panel Discussion to Examine Trends/Opportunities

986

How has digital technology changed, and how will it continue to change, consumer behavior with regard to photography? What effect will the social networking phenomenon have on the imaging industry and on the various ways consumers share and communicate with their images? How will consumers manage their growing image collections in the future? What technologies will make those images more actionable? How can imaging retailers best position themselves to service their customers as these new trends emerge?

When this many questions begin piling up a given subject the best thing to do is to get some the brightest minds you can find together in one room and have a discussion about it. That’s exactly what Picture Business is doing at the 2009 CES Spotlight on Imaging event set for Jan. 9, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. in room S221 of the connector between the South and Central Halls of the LVCC.

Liz Cutting, Senior Account Manager, Technology, Entertainment & Communications NPD; Steve Hoffenberg, Director Consumer Imaging Research; Ed Lee, Director, Consumer Imaging Services Group at InfoTrends and Steve Koenig, Director, Industry Analysis, at CEA will grace a panel discussion at Spotlight on Imaging 2009 titled Imaging Retail: The New Frontier – New Tech/New Consumers/New Directions at Retail. The Wireless Business Owners Consortium president Mark Landiak will moderate what promises to be a lively and informative discussion.

It’s all part of this year’s Spotlight on Imaging at he 2009 International CES.
