Target Wednesday announced a wide variety of new consumer electronics services, including a free product support hotline, expanded mobile phone availability through Target Mobile, and a new Electronics Trade-In program.

The hotline's phone number is 1-877-myTGTtech. The company plans to make Target Mobile and Target Electronics Trade-In available in 850 stores by December, and nationwide next year.

The electronics trade-in program, meanwhile, allows customers to trade in old devices in exchange for store credit. Customers can also trade in electronics, as well as DVDs, online for a Target gift card.

“Our goal is to create the best and easiest shopping experience for our guests,” Target senior vice president Mark Schindele said as part of the announcement. “As we continue to grow and enhance our consumer electronics business, we designed 1-877-myTGTtech to assist guests with any questions and technical support on their electronics purchases.”
