The profound changes the still photography world is currently undergoing were evident at last years’ Photo Plus Expo in New York as HD video technology continued to make its mark in DSLR cameras.

As a result of that continued convergence, the organizers of the 2010 PDN PhotoPlus International Conference & Expo and Picture Business & Mobile Lifestyle magazine have announced, for the second straight year, the Video Pavilion at PhotoPlus – October 28-30, 2010 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in  New York.

The show floor was a buzz in 2009 as photographers/attendees were treated to a world of image capture that introduced motion to explore the nature of a subject coupled with the remarkable definition and 'scrutability' of today’s still image capability. Yes, video continues to invade the shores of the DSLR world and the PhotoPlus 2010 Video Pavilion will once again shine a spotlight on this explosive trend.

PDN PhotoPlus Expo is the only photography trade show that has dedicated a section of its show floor specifically to manufacturers and distributors of video equipment including cameras, accessories, and software.  Thanks to the convergence of still photography and video and the desire of photographers to offer clients a wider range of services, including video, PDN PhotoPlus Expo 2010 will showcase the world of video to its 27,000 + attendees with a special Video Pavilion located within the PDN PhotoPlus trade show floor.
