The Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) group said this week that it will host a trade show in New York for the first time.
The show will co-locate with the PhotoPlus Expo at New York's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center Oct. 26-28. It will include a day of education programs Oct. 26 and a full trade show the following two days.
“We are really excited to finally bring the enthusiasm and positive energy of WPPI to the East Coast,” George Varanakis, Show Director of WPPI and Publisher of Rangefinder, said as part of the announcement.
“Co-locating with PhotoPlus Expo gives us the perfect opportunity to reach out to photographers on the East Coast and extend our educational offerings and trade show exhibits to established professional photographers, as well as those just entering the field, that may be new to the WPPI experience.”
