The under-35 demographic devotes a “substantially greater” amount of time to online photo-related activities than anyone else, acording to a survey released this week by InfoTrends.

The results come from InfoTrends' Online Photo Services End-User Research: 2010 survey, which is available from InfoTrends' online store.

“While it is clear that the younger consumers are currently more photo-active, people of all ages are using social networking sites. Once comprised almost entirely of younger consumers, this user base has expanded greatly to include many demographics,” InfoTrends associate director Alan Bullock said as part of the announcement.

“Providing education and increased ease of use could help ensure that online photo sharing, viewing, and printing habits do not fall to the wayside among those individuals who may not be completely comfortable with the Internet.”
