Los Angeles, CA—Insta360 debuted its all-in-one tool for iPhones that features one-tap pairing. The Insta360 Flow Pro is an AI-tracking smartphone stabilizer for iPhone users. As a DockKit-enabled gimbal—Apple’s new subject-tracking technology—the Flow Pro helps achieve accurate tracking with the iPhone’s native camera app. It also works with 200+ third-party iOS apps, including FaceTime, Zoom and TikTok.
Moreover, Insta360’s AI-tracking algorithm, Deep Track 3.0, follows you or your desired subject in more complex environments, with pan tracking for a 360º rotation. Additionally, 3-axis stabilization helps cancel out the effects of shake. The Flow Pro is the first gimbal integrated with DockKit. By accurately tracking with your iPhone’s native camera app, you can start shooting with your front or rear camera, and your subject will stay in focus. Plus, there is no need to connect to an app first.
For a smoother filming experience, the Flow Pro recognizes your phone automatically with one-tap pairing. By using the smartphone’s NFC function, you can place your phone near the gimbal and pair. After the first time, Flow Pro automatically reconnects when the phone is nearby. You can snap your phone onto it with the magnetic phone clamp or the new MagSafe-compatible magnetic phone mount; unfold the gimbal; and start shooting. The device allows you to move around a space and create videos, livestream and video call hands-free. 
The stabilizer also offers AI image processing and 3-axis stabilization, to aid in shooting cinematic angles and creative movements. Its mechanical stabilization excels where a smartphone’s electronic stabilization can fail, such as in low light and when zooming in.
Tech Advances
Furthermore, the device pairs with Insta360’s next-generation AI tracking technology, Deep Track 3.0. This permits the Flow Pro to track subjects in real-time, rotating to follow the movement of the subject and framing shots automatically. It also maintains the technical advantages of Flow’s Deep Track 3.0, such as tracking recovery, person re-identification, zoom and slow-motion tracking.
However, the Flow Pro takes it a step further; 360º infinite pan tracking means the device can rotate 360º horizontally while tracking subjects. Furthermore, a new LED tracking ring light makes it easier to see if the Flow Pro is tracking at a glance. Additionally, the next-gen stabilizer is more versatile, as it can track pets, including dogs, cats and horses. 
What’s more, for an automated shooting experience, solo creators can set up the tripod and use gesture control to start tracking hands-free in the Insta360 app. Also, it offers the same portable vlogging setup as the Flow. It’s tools include a selfie stick that extends to 8.5 inches for better selfies, group shots and cinematic low-angle shots. In addition, its tripod extends from the handle, so you can set down the gimbal to film yourself or capture a motion timelapse or 360º panorama photo.

Other features include a 2900mAh battery that will charge a smartphone while recording and a cold shoe for adding a mic for vlog-ready audio without additional accessories. The Flow Pro also unfolds in one motion and has a 10-hour battery life.
And sporting a minimalist design, all the device’s key controls are on the SmartWheel for quick access to shooting controls and video replay. The four main shooting modes (auto, follow, pan follow and FPV) automatically adjust the gimbal settings based on how you move. Auto achieves shake-free shots for beginners, and you can simulate FPV drone-like movements.
Moreover, you can use Flow Pro’s cinematic effect to transform smartphone videos with 360º panoramas, dynamic TimeShifts, motion timelapses and the classic Hollywood dolly zoom.
