Parsippany, NJ—Meeting Hasselblad’s optical standards and quality requirements, the company released a Hasselblad filter set for Hasselblad lenses. Also introduced was the eco-friendly Hasselblad Vandra camera strap.

Hasselblad CPL Filters
Available in 62mm, 67mm, 72mm as well as 77mm, Hasselblad circular polarizer/linear (CPL) filters are effective in eliminating reflection. This includes in situations such as shooting water surfaces or capturing shots through glass windows.
Made with Schott B 270 glass and high-quality polarizing film with ultralow light reflectance, the filters are more than 99.9% effective at polarizing light. Thus, they eliminate almost all reflections. They are constructed with seamless adhesive processing to bring a sharp camera view and clear imagery.
In addition, antireflection (AR) coating processing introduces more light with less reflection. With moderate color temperature and low color deviation, the filters also eliminate unwanted ultraviolet (UV) light while retaining details for landscape photography.
Hasselblad CPL filters have the following suggested retail prices: 62mm, $339; 67mm, $359; 72mm, $379; and 77mm, $399.
Hasselblad ND8 Filters
Also available in 62mm, 67mm, 72mm and 77mm, Hasselblad neutral density (ND) 8 filters reduce light input. Moreover, they facilitate shutter speed and aperture control while retaining sharp images and accurate colors.
They also feature Schott B 270 glass and double-sided ND coating technology. Consequently, the filters are clear and of low color deviation and reflection. In addition, photographers can use the filter to shoot long exposures during the day. Moreover, when used with a telephoto lens, the filters continue to deliver sharp imagery.
Hasselblad ND8 filters have the following SRPs: 62mm; $229; 67mm, $239; 72mm, $249; and 77mm, $259.
Hasselblad UV Filters
These filters also come in 62mm, 67mm, 72mm and 77mm versions. The UV filters block most UV light, reducing its effect on shooting to the max extent. Further, Schott B 270 glass and dual-sided 30-layered low-reflective optical coating, with an 98.5% average light transmission, reduce flare. The filters also realize a wide UV cutoff of 300nm to 410nm. As a result, they eliminate blue and purple flares to restore colors accurately.

In addition, nanocoating is used on all Hasselblad CPL, ND8 and UV filters. Consequently, the filters are water and oil resistant as well as anti-scratch and anti-static resistant. Each filter comes with a shockproof case.
Hasselblad Vandra Camera Strap
What’s more, Hasselblad released the Vandra camera strap. Inspired by the long-standing Swedish tradition, known as Allemansrätten or “Freedom to Roam,” the Vandra strap is meant to encourage users to go outdoors and capture the natural world. It incorporates the spirit of roaming into its design with comfortable, convenient materials that allow users to fully engage with their surroundings.
The strap fits Hasselblad X2D 100C, X1D II 50C as well as 907X cameras. Furthermore, its minimalist design upholds an eco-friendly philosophy, starting with the choice of materials.
The light gray exterior of the strap is made from Oceanic fabric by Camira, a British brand with 200 years of history in textiles. The Oceanic material uses marine plastics recycled over a decade with a diagonal weaving.
Made from Alcantara, a high-tech textile 100% made in Italy, the interior of the strap is durable and comfortable against the skin. In addition, the linking pads and the fixing rings are made with artificial leather.
The adjustable Vandra strap also features hand-embroidered “Hasselblad” text on its exterior and a laser-engraved logo and tagline on the interior. Its metal components are high-grade six-series matte aluminum alloy. Additionally, the silver quick-adjust H buckle and the strap buckle sport laser-engraved “H” logos.
