New York, NY—Polaroid debuted the tiniest member to join its portfolio: the Polaroid Go camera. Measuring just 4.1 inches long, 3.3 inches wide and 2.4 inches tall, the Go is the smallest analog instant camera. Moreover, it weighs in at .53 pound.
A wearable creative companion, it is a miniature version of the classic, square-format film camera. Furthermore, the new camera and its film mark the most significant change to the Polaroid form factor in decades.
“Bringing innovation, product design, creativity as well as a little bit of attitude back to Polaroid was our focus ever since we took over as the new team three years ago. The Polaroid Go is our biggest contribution to this yet. It is just really playful yet incredibly well designed; it’s going to make it so easy for you to bring a totally different camera than your phone with you wherever you go,” said Oskar Smolokowski, Polaroid CEO.

Available in a classic white colorway, the tiny camera leans on Polaroid’s iconic design heritage. However, it creates a new format of instant cameras for a new generation. The camera also boasts a newly developed selfie mirror; a self-timer; a longer-lasting battery; as well as double exposure mode. In addition, it pairs with travel-friendly accessories.
The analog camera offers shutter speeds of 1/125 to 30 seconds. It also employs a 34mm-equivalent f/12–52 lens and an automatic flash.
“We spent years designing the Go camera from the inside out. The camera’s internal components are arranged like a three-dimensional Tetris. We used a careful composition to achieve a simple and effortless exterior and deliver the smallest size instant analog camera possible. Bringing product design back in a serious way to Polaroid is a labor of love; the team is super proud of this new iconic form factor,” added Ignacio Germade, Polaroid’s chief design officer.
Accompanying the launch of camera is the Go film. It reimagines Polaroid’s classic square format in the smallest analog film the brand has ever produced. The color instant film takes 16 photos per double pack with the classic Polaroid white frame.
The Polaroid Go instant camera has a retail price of $99.99. The Go film double pack sells for $19.99.
