Consumers are in dire need of somewhere to put the billions of digital files they are collecting every year. The rising tide of photos, bookmarks, emails, music and video files are causing consumers to think about how to store all that digital information. According to WYNIT, this storage demand is developing a great sales opportunity for the company’s dealers nationwide. The Consumer Electronics Association’s recent consumer research study ‘Amassing Digital Fortunes: A Digital Storage Study,’ states that U.S. online adults own an average of nearly 1,800 digital files each. That adds up to 310 billion nationwide. Moreover, most of those files are keepsakes if you ask each owner. The numbers are good for dealers who should use the information to ask every digital product buyer, ‘how are they going to save and organize files?’
