Best Buy is planning a spate of new store openings across the U.S. this week, as its number of total stores edges closer to 1000.
The eight new stores are located in Orange, Calif.; Centennial, Colo.; Fort Myers, Fla.; Omaha, Neb.; Manahawkin and Vauxhall, N.J., Williamsburg, Va. and Kenosha, Wis. The store openings will coincide with ribbon-cutting ceremonies, mostly being held either Thursday, Friday or Saturday, as well as presentations of checks to local charities.
With the new openings, Best Buy’s number of total stores in the U.S. is now 965, in 49 states.
