ForeSee Results, in partnership with FGI Research, has released the Top 40 Online Retail Satisfaction Index, which measures online shopper satisfaction over the holiday season. According to this year’s results, consumers are more satisfied with their online shopping experience than they were a year ago by 1.4 percent. The more than 10,000 shoppers surveyed gave Netflix, Amazon, LLBean.com and QVC.com the highest ratings. Apple.com and Old Navy.com were close behind. The lowest scorers included CompUSA.com, Costco.com and CDW.com. Department stores such as JC Penney, Sears and Target Web sites showed marked improvement. In general, apparel Web sites fared better than consumer electronics or mass merchant Web sites. ForeSee Results President and CEO Larry Freed said, “The top eight retailers from last season either maintained or improved. They aren’t resting on their laurels or giving other retailers a chance to erode their customer base.”
