Celebrating Its 80th Anniversary, Fujifilm Introduces New Corporate Branding Sloga

Valhalla, NY—To celebrate the 80th anniversary of its original founding, Fujifilm Holdings Corporation created a new corporate slogan—Value from Innovation—that was adopted by the Fujifilm Group for its global operations.

The slogan was created to demonstrate the new direction Fujifilm is taking, and its future objectives. It expresses Fujifilm’s commitment to deepening communications with its customers and all other stakeholders, and to further enhancing the value of the Fujifilm corporate brand.

In response to the decline in demand for photographic film since 2000, Fujifilm Holdings Corporation carried out a series of structural reforms. The company moved away from its core business of photographic film and is involved in an array of business operations. The Fujifilm Group is currently investing management resources in the following six fields: healthcare, including medical equipment, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics; graphic systems, developing a range of printing equipment; highly functional materials, such as optical film for LCDs and touch panel components; optical devices, including TV lenses and components for satellite optical systems; digital imaging, with the development of digital cameras and photo book albums; and document solutions, including Fuji Xerox’s lineup of composite equipment/devices and solution services.

Along with expressing Fujifilm’s commitment to continuously create innovative technologies, products and services, the slogan reflects the company’s desire to combine their original technology with human resources, expertise and technology from around the world, both internally and externally, to spur innovation.
