DIMA 2014
The DIMA 2014 Conference at Bally’s Las Vegas is the premier educational event for digital imaging professionals. The conference takes place January 5–6. The DIMA 2014 Conference will include sessions focusing on the latest in marketing, retail strategy, photo publishing and imaging technology.

As always, DIMA features the best in imaging professionals sharing what has made them successful in an energetic and technology-laden environment. It is the place to learn about exciting new products, professional tips and tricks, and all the new trends in the photo industry.

IS&T

The IS&T Technologies for Digital Photo Fulfillment (TDPF) symposium is the hot track for new technology at DIMA. This year TDPF focuses on hard copy output and the growth opportunities for the photo fulfillment industry that come from prints and photo books.

Sessions include papers on the continuing need—and related opportunities—for the long-term preservation of digital files using hard copy output. This approach moves consumers’ memories from the realm of perishable digital files to tangible objects. TDPF will also explore photo fulfillment from the consumer perspective, with papers that discuss simplified approaches to photo album and photo book creation.

Moving to larger scale output, TDPF offers the commercial print perspective on emerging opportunities for commercial display. As graphic arts technologies continue to converge with the traditional photo industry, it is imperative to understand new business opportunities.

TDPF will also explore the latest advances in silver halide technology, innovations in retail binding solutions, and how standards effect the photo goods we produce.

AIE Future Imaging Summit 2014
Join the Association of Imaging Executives as it looks ahead into the future of imaging technology and its impact on the photography business. The AIE Summit will center on the most important photographic trends and technology coming to market—those changes that will most impact the businesses of its members within the next five years. This four-session summit will again be held concurrently with the DIMA and PSPA/SPAA conferences, January 5–6, 2014 at Bally’s Las Vegas.

PSPA/SPAA 2014

The PSPA/SPAA 2014 Conference will return to Bally’s Las Vegas and will be held as part of the PMA conferences. It will continue to be the premier educational event for school and sports photographers, with the added bonus for attendees to attend DIMA sessions. A cast of energetic photographers will share the latest techniques and creative marketers will show you ways to grow your business to ensure profitability.

PSPA/SPAA 2014 will include additional networking opportunities to meet with your peers while learning from industry leaders.
