Nikon has announced the impending release of its latest lens product, the AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4 prime lens. Timed to coincide with the company’s 75th anniversary, the new lens is meant to work with an FX-format D-SLR, in order to “closely replicates the visual perspective of the human eye.”
The lens is scheduled to be released to authorized Nikon dealers in December, at a suggested retail price of $439.95.
