Digital picture frame manufacturer Smartparts confirmed this week that it has gone out of business.
"Smart parts is unfortunately winding down operations and is no longer in business as a result of the difficult economic climate," the company said in a statement issued through its spokesman.
Based in Totowa, N.J., company had launched in 2003, with OptiPix and SyncPix among its brand names.
