Kodak in the K-Zone

It looked a bit like a taping of “The View” but without its high profile hosts and celebrity guests. On Sunday, Feb. 21 at 10:15 a.m., hostess Paulette Brandes of Kodak and her guests, Jeff Hayzlett and Jenny Cisney of Kodak, and Elmo Sapwater, an imaging insider, talked about their experiences with social media such as Twitter and Facebook while show attendees acted as their “television” audience.

There was even a giveaway for one lucky member of the studio audience at the end of “the show.” Throughout the day, a number of topics were discussed using this “informal” format including, “Moms Know Best” where mommy bloggers discussed how and why they share photos. At 2 p.m., attendees learned how to attract new customers using Kodak's Picture Kiosk. Monday's lineup included “What's Your Story?” (how to tell a story using photo books); and at Noon, Kodak shared some research about consumers and their experiences at retail. It was a bit like eavesdropping on some not-so-private conversations, which were at times informative, if not always “scintillating.”
