The SW240 is the most affordable monitor in BenQ’s offering. At $399, it carries a price point to appeal to amateur photographers, students and hobbyists. Moreover, BenQ’s other AQColor monitors from its SW and PD lines will be on display. In addition, William Innes and Glyn Dewis will join BenQ as guest speakers at its booths.

AQColor SW240 PhotoVue Monitor Features

The new 24.1-inch monitor’s key features include 16:10, 1,920×1,200 resolution and factory-calibrated color accuracy. The size of the monitor permits the display of two full A4 pages plus tool palettes. This allows photographers to easily compare the content on the screen. The monitor also offers 99% Adobe RGB coverage, 100% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3.

In addition, it provides 14-bit 3D LUT hardware calibration with Palette Master Element calibration software. BenQ’s Palette Master Element enables users to adjust the image-processing chip in the monitor without changing the graphics card output data. It keeps the images consistent with its original copies, without being affected by graphic settings.

Other features include Color Mode HotKey for switching between color modes as well as an advanced black & white mode. In addition, a shading hood for the monitor is sold separately. Furthermore, the SW240 has edge-to-edge ultra-slim bezels so photographers can set up a dual-monitor workspace.

BenQ Presentations

During the exhibit, BenQ also will host workflow presentations with BenQ Expert William Innes. BenQ Ambassador Glyn Dewis will also be on stand. Both guests will share tips and tools on how BenQ monitors can enhance workflow—whether for photography or design.

Alongside the products and presentations, BenQ will promote a competition that offers one lucky winner the chance to explore and capture some of America’s most spectacular sites—a prize worth $5,000.

The competition runs until November 30, 2018. The winner could win a trip to the historic creole capital, New Orleans; to Old Havana; or to the home of the Granite Giants, Yosemite National Park.

The adventures are designed to guide participants through the most photogenic locations with professional instruction.
