The PowerShot cameras- the X210 IS, SD3500 IS, SD1400 IS and SD1300 IS, offer the user increased shooting flexibility, as well as Fish-eye and Miniature Effect modes. The cameras also sport HD video quality.

The $349.99 SX210 features a 28mm wide-angle lens with 14x Optical Zoom as well as. The $329.99 SD3500 features a 24mm ultra-wide angle lens with 5x Optical Zoom, while the $249.99 DS1400 sports a 28mm lens and 4x Optical Zoom. And the SD1300, costing $199.99, a 28mm wide angle lens with 4x Optical Zoom lens.

All will be available in February, with the exception of the SX210, which arrives in March.

The Canon Rebel T2i Digital SLR features Full HD DSLR video capture, as well as an 18-Megapixel CMOS Sensor.

“There is no question that HD video is the biggest trend in DSLR technology and because of this we are seeing the creativity of still photographers transferring to the moving image. Still photographers are using the various lenses and accessories they are already familiar with to create amazing video footage,” Yuichi Ishizuka, executive vice president and general manager of Canon's Consumer Imaging Group, said as part of the announcement. “Taking that HD video quality and putting it in the hands of entry-level photographers with cameras like our new EOS Rebel T2i, we are seeing a new generation of creative digital artists emerge.”

The T2i Digital SLR will arrive in stores for $799.99 body-only, and in a kit version with a zoom lens for $100 more.
