Center Valley, PA—Olympus Imaging America’s new integrated Capture Your Stories multimedia campaign, utilizing television and online advertising, demonstrates that the Olympus PEN E-PM2 compact system camera is “incredibly easy to use to capture and share amazing images and videos.”
The E-PM2 is designed to offer consumers the imaging quality of a digital single-lens reflex camera and high-definition video recording, but in a compact, take-anywhere body that’s as easy to use as a point-and-shoot model. The ad campaign highlights how easy it is to capture images on the go with the Olympus PEN by just touching the camera’s LCD screen.
The integrated advertising campaign continues to embrace storytelling through photos and video. “The visuals are truly lovable and our platform for the campaign reinforces the strong product features. Touch to focus fast. Touch to capture fast. All to share your stories fast,” said Stephanie Sherry, director, Marketing Communications at Olympus. “This is a fun campaign that demonstrates how consumers can use the new Olympus PEN E-PM2 camera to focus, capture and share just by touching the back of the screen. It’s the camera that keeps up with the speed of life today. Olympus has a history of manufacturing high-quality optics and this campaign demonstrates how technology can be fun, easy, creative and social without sacrificing quality.”
In addition to showcasing the camera’s touch screen technology and an image sensor typically found in traditional Olympus DSLRs, the campaign focuses on other PEN features: the flexibility of interchangeable lenses; the convenience of a bundled flash; in-camera creative features; and automatic technologies designed to produce outstanding images effortlessly.
