Best Buy Goes Bilingual

947

Best Buy has significantly ramped up its efforts to reach Spanish-speaking and bilingual customers, launching a Spanish-language Web site and adding bilingual signage to more than 200 of its stores.

According to Ascribe News the effort, which also includes the hiring of more multilingual sales associates and call center employees and distribution of Spanish-language advertising circulars, came about because Best Buy recognized a demand for such services from its Hispanic customer base.

The new site is called Best Buy Espanol, and can be found at espanol.bestbuy.com
