CEA Plans Industry Update at Digital Downtown

The Consumer Electronics Association will be hosting an Industry Update for the media and financial community in New York on June 12, in conjunction with the Digital Downtown technology showcase that begins that day. The event will be held June 12, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the American Express Conference Center at the World Financial Center.

The event will include several presentations, including updates from the CEA’s director of industry analysis Steve Koenig, senior director of market research Tim Herbert and economist Shawn DuBravac, and “CEO Briefings” from Rachelle Friedman of J&R Music and Computer World and Noel Lee of Monster Cable.

Special reports will also be presented on “What Analysts Are Saying About Consumer Technology,” “Trends That Are Changing the CE Retail Landscape” and “From Wall Street to Main Street.” The briefing will also include “special forecasts” on flat panel trends and emerging opportunities in audio.

The event is open to both financial analysts and members of the working press.
