Relief organization AmeriCares recently visited Fujifilm's New York offices to present a special award, after FujiFilm donated $227,000 to Japan earthquake and tsunami relief through AmeriCares.
“AmeriCares is grateful to Fujifilm for its compassion and generosity in helping the people of Japan recover from this devastating tragedy,” AmeriCares Vice President of Institutional Relations Diana Maguire said as part of the announcement.
“Thanks to great supporters like Fujifilm, AmeriCares has the resources to assist the long-term recovery efforts and help restore health and hope for countless survivors.”
Fujifilm North America Companies donated $100,000 to the effort, with the remaining $127,000 coming from employees.
