Anaheim, CA—VistaQuest is highlighting a digital single-use camera line that will be ready for shipment in September 2010, just in time for the holiday shopping season. On view at the PMA 2010 Convention and Trade Show, held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California, the line comprises four easy-to-operate models designed to provide users with a worry-free method of collecting images for uploading to social networking sites and creating photo books and other photo products.

“The novice can experiment with digital photography without an investment and the experienced vacationer can choose these models if he wants to protect his expensive camera from the dangers of hiking, sailing and other threatening environments,” said a company spokesperson.

VistaQuest’s digital single-use cameras carry retail prices beginning at $7.99. All four provide a USB cord to allow a single download directly to a PC. The new models have varying features: the VQ10 has no flash and no LCD screen, while the VQ20 has a flash and an LCD screen; the VQ15 has a flash and no LCD screen, while the VQ25 has no flash with an LCD screen.

The one-time-use cameras utilize a custom-made DSP and a CMOS sensor and will capture 40 JPEG images of high enough resolution to print out as 5x7s.

Specializing in mass market, electronic superstores and catalog sales, VistaQuest manufactures digital video and other digital products ranging from $9.99 to $249. The broad line of products is geared to a variety of market segments where customization is a primary request to meet clients’ needs, such as with private labeling.

“We’ve seen a rise in the premium-incentive market over the past few months and see increasing evidence that mass-market dealers are becoming more aware of the fine products and profit margins we offer,” said Hamed Hejran, CEO. “Our quality is admired and our price points are perfect for the present economic challenges.”

In addition to their own VistaQuest line, the company distributes AgfaPhoto and Speedo brand products. Booth 2287. vistaquestusa.com
