Valhalla, NY—Fujifilm North America Corporation partnered with celebrity photographer and director Markus Klinko for the grand reveal of never-before-seen photos of David Bowie. A celebration of the life of the international pop culture legend and fashion icon, the exhibition will be hosted at Markowicz Fine Art, in the Miami Design District, on February 25, 2016.
The collection of exclusive photos that will be unveiled includes a set of 14 Fujifilm instant film prints of Bowie taken in 2001, unseen intimate images, and daring shots with the artist. Many of the images were shot using Fujichrome Provia film and printed on Fujiflex Crystal archive printing material.
Attendees at the exhibition will be able to meet Klinko at the private media and VIP reveal party on February 25, at the Markowicz Fine Art Gallery from 7–9 p.m. Klinko’s high-quality, fine art photographic prints of the late David Bowie will be available for sale exclusively at the event.
The photographs are limited editions autographed by the contemporary photographer. They will be offered in a variety of sizes. After the event, the exhibition will be open to the public from February 26, 2016 until mid-March.
Markus Klinko also uses the Fujifilm X-Pro1 to shoot images and was one of the first professional photographers to start using the Fujifilm X-Pro2. Klinko is featured in an X-Pro2 promotional video that can be viewed at Fujifilm X-Pro2 x Markus&Koala on YouTube.
