White Plains, NY—Calibrite introduced its next-generation display measurement technology for content creators. Shipping in early July, the new Calibrite Display Plus HL and Display Pro HL devices feature high luminance sensors.

Calibrite designed the colorimeters for more accurate calibration and profiling of mini-LED, OLED and super bright displays. Furthermore, the HL colorimeters from Calibrite are powered by X-Rite.

“Now, your display calibration tool contains the technology to accurately measure new, evolving and emerging display panel technology. Display technology is advancing at breakneck speed,” the company announced. “Calibrite is ready with advanced colorimeter measurement devices designed to keep pace now and into the future.

Calibrite Display Plus HL

Today’s emerging display technology requires measurement devices with a far greater range than before. To answer that demand, Calibrite developed the Display Plus HL to measure up to 10,000 nits. That’s five times the measurement capacity of the current Display Plus device. As a result, it is a solution for calibrating mini-LED, OLED and super bright displays, including Apple XDR technology.

The Display Plus HL is recommended for video editing, highest-quality still image editing as well as design applications. As such, it is positioned as a top-of-the-line solution for filmmakers, photographers, creatives, editors, as well as designers. It is an option for anyone who needs to see deep into shadow areas when preparing video or still files for viewing on the latest display devices. In addition, Calibrite Display Plus HL is recommended for SDR and HDR applications.

The Calibrite Display Plus HL has a suggested retail price of $339.

Calibrite Display Pro HL

The new Calibrite Display Pro HL features a significant increase in luminance measurement capacity over previous versions. Consequently, it can accurately measure maximum luminance displays up to 3000 nits. That is double the capacity of the current Display Pro device.

Recommended for the highest-quality still image editing and design applications, the Calibrite Display Pro HL is a solution for photographers using advanced photo-editing displays. This includes displays from manufacturers who offer their own software and need a measurement device to create profiles for their photo-editing displays.

The colorimeter comes with Calibrite Profiler software (Mac/Windows OS), with customizable features such as white point and gamma, profile validation as well as uniformity check features. SRP: $279.

Calibrite Display SL

Finally, the Calibrite Display SL is an upgraded, entry-level device for use with SDR monitors. The Display SL has the same form factor as the HL devices. Thus, it allows for a large aperture lens; fade-resistant filters; and the use of a removable diffusion screen Calibrite and X-Rite users have utilized for more than a decade.

The Display SL is recommended for still image and video editing with industry-standard settings. It also permits you to calibrate multiple displays connected to the same computer. The Calibrite Display SL has an SRP of $169. Calibrite-Display-Plus-HL-trio
