Hampstead, MD—Serene Automation LLC announced a distribution partnership with OmegaBrandess. The partnership will combine OmegaBrandess’s position in photographic equipment distribution and support with Serene Automation’s RoboShoot product line.
Retailers across the U.S. will now be able to offer customers RoboShoot off-camera flash functionality. The TTL radio-based flash trigger is designed to enable use of Fujifilm or Nikon Speedlights on Fujifilm X-series cameras. Its unique capability opens the door to applications previously outside the reach of X-series shooters, such as wedding and on-location portraiture. Its small form factor also complements the compact X-series premium cameras.
With the addition of specialized timing functions, the RoboShoot MX20 provides a host of capabilities. These include: four flash groups; full TTL on all flash shoes; extended camera features; fast push-button access to common functions; flash head zooming; i-TTL support for Nikon Speedlights; and fast sync speed.
With the free iOS and Android app, photographers can enjoy control at their fingertips. The RoboShoot system assists users with enhanced control over their environment to “bend” it to fit their creative needs. It does this by controlling timing and lighting. Specifically, the devices provide enhanced wireless TTL flash groups with optional timing control of: triggered high-speed capture, triggered timer and triggered intervalometer functions. These complex functions are simplified via smartphone control on iOS and Android devices. This lets photographers make instant adjustments, allowing them to focus on the art and composition rather than the equipment.
The RoboShoot MX-15/RX-15 flash trigger kit has a suggested retail price of $259.99. The MX-15/RX-20 flash trigger kit retails for $299.95, and the MX-20/RX-20 flash trigger kit has an SRP of $379.95. The RX-15 receiver sells separately for $129.95; the RX-20 receiver for $159.95.
