Fairfield, CT—New ProMaster NP-F style batteries that feature the convenience of USB-C charging were introduced. Moreover, the batteries eliminate the need to take a power bank with you on location.

The new batteries are for solo content creators or small teams working together on productions. Further, ProMaster is offering the USB-C chargeable NP-F style batteries in 570 and 770 powers, for a range of battery life and sizes to choose from.
Additionally, if you are an avid videographer or travel with lighting equipment that can be powered via NP-F batteries, having that option makes your lighting setup more flexible. Rather than tethered to the wall and having to work around power outlets, you can move your lights wherever you want.
ProMaster Sony-Type NP-F570 Battery
The ProMaster 2,600 mAh Li-ion rechargeable battery uses an integrated USB-C port for charging. Connect to it and wait for the battery’s onboard LED light to change from red to green. What’s more, a USB-C to USB-A charging cord is included. Charging will function properly using a USB power source having a minimum charging current of 0.5A (3.0A max). 
In addition, the battery is compatible with cameras, lights and other accessories using the Sony-type NP-F570 battery. Beyond its own onboard charging port, the battery also works with external chargers. The battery is also packaged in a case that doubles as a protective storage unit. This case helps ensure the battery remains clean and its contacts don’t accidentally touch any metal objects or get damaged while the battery is being stored and transported.
Safety features include overcharge and over discharge protection; overcurrent protection; overvoltage protection (voltage regulation); as well as short-circuit protection. Furthermore, charging time from fully depleted to 100% is approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes (with 0.95A minimum charging current). The battery has a suggested retail price of $39.95.

With all the features of the NP-F570, this is a ProMaster 4,400 mAh Li-ion rechargeable battery with an integrated USB-C port for charging. In addition, it comes also with a reusable, protective storage case. SRP: $49.95.
