North White Plains, NY—Nanlite announced several new products, including the FC-500B and FC-300B LED spotlights as well as PavoTube II XR pixel tubes with built-in CRMX. Moreover, the recently launched Nanlite Forza 60B II is an ultracompact, bicolor LED spotlight for use in the studio or the field. Nanlite has increased its creative applications with the debut of the Forza 60B II PJ-FMM projection attachment kit.
The new Forza 60B II spotlight and projection attachment kit bundles the Forza 60B II and the PJ-FMM projection attachment in a custom padded carrying case. It also includes 19° and 36° interchangeable lenses, four gobos, a mini reflector, a Bowens mount adapter and an NP-F battery grip.
“This new kit provides great value and ensures you can always precisely cut, shape as well as focus light at every shoot,” the company announced.
In addition, the Forza 60B II and PJ-FMM are compact and lightweight. Furthermore, with 15% more brightness over the original, the little 60B II is more powerful. When used with the PJ-FMM and the 19° lens at 5600K, the output jumps up to 53070 lux (4930 fc). Plus, it is still small enough to hide behind on-screen objects and runs cool to the touch.
Forza 60B II PJ-FMM Projection Attachment Kit
Because the Forza 60B II spotlight and projection attachment kit includes both the 19° and 36° lenses, you don’t have to decide between the two. Furthermore, the included Bowens mount adapter makes the Forza 60B II compatible with a number of modifiers. It also features an umbrella holder for more light-shaping options.
“Keeping the fixture and projection attachment together in the same case means you’ll be more likely to bring both tools to every shoot,” Nanlite said. “When a scene can benefit from a background projection, a shaft of light on a ceiling or wall that mimics a reflection from a window—or a thousand other uses, you’ll have everything you need in this portable kit.”
Nanlite will launch both the kit and its dedicated website on September 6, 2023. The kit will have a suggested retail price of $699.
Nanlite Forza 300 II, 300B II, 500 II & 500B II 2-Kits with Rolling Cases
Also in the rollout were second-generation Nanlite Forza 300 II, 300B II, 500 II and 500B II LED spotlight 2-kits. In addition, they come with rolling padded cases that hold all the included items. The new kits are not combinations of different Forza II lights; they are sets of two of the same light. They also include two of all the required components (heads, control units, head cables, power cables, super clamps). The rolling cases also feature collapsible handles.
“The best thing about these kits is how sensible they are. You will greatly benefit from having two of these lights at your shoots because they will both likely be used most of the time,” Nanlite state. “The fact that they come with nicely made rolling cases just seals the deal. Much easier to load in, load out as well as manage when in storage.”
What’s more, the latest Nanlite Forza spotlight models were introduced earlier this year. They feature all the second-generation advancements. For example, they boast the uncommon but useful green-to-magenta adjustment of +/- 80%, as well as increased brightness. They also have control units that are smaller and more lightweight.
Nanlite will release the Forza 2-kits with rolling cases on October 1, 2023.
