Long Beach, CA—Røde introduced a dual transmitter version of the Wireless ME microphone. The Røde Wireless ME dual transmitter kit is a grab-and-go wireless mic for content creators.
Røde pioneered the ultracompact wireless mic category with the Wireless GO wearable microphone system. The Wireless GO’s compact form factor, pro-quality audio and built-in microphones allow for completely wireless operation. Røde continued that technology with the Wireless GO II and, most recently, with the Wireless PRO. Now, Røde will make the Wireless ME, released in 2023, available in a dual set. The set features two transmitters and one receiver. It will come in a choice of either black or white units.
“The Wireless ME combines the same unmatched sound quality and innovative features that Røde wireless microphones are revered for with unprecedented ease of use,” the company announced.

The ME provides series IV 2.4GHz digital transmission and universal compatibility with cameras, smartphones and computers. It also features Røde’s GainAssist technology, which utilizes intelligent algorithms that automatically control audio levels on-the-fly. Consequently, the mic is simple to use, delivering professional sound quality with no setup or tweaking required.
Røde says it is also the only wireless microphone with a mic built into the receiver for recording audio from in front of and behind the camera simultaneously. As a result, the wireless mic is a solution for capturing interviews or voice-overs for video content.
In addition, the dual Wireless ME enables the recording of two subjects simultaneously, or even three when its integrated receiver mic is activated. Moreover, the ability to get the Wireless ME in white instead of the original black makes it an option if you are looking for a discreet solution when working with talent who typically wear lighter colored clothing—from wedding videographers to business professionals.
Røde will announce pricing of the dual Wireless ME closer to its launch in spring 2024.
