The HP-owned Snapfish announced this week that it has reached retail partnerships with both Walmart and the New York convenience store chain Duane Reade.
Under terms of the deals, users of Snapfish will be able to order photos online and pick them up, within the hour, from any Walmart or Duane Reade locations. The Walmart deal is effective immediately, while Duane Reade will make the service available Nov. 14.
"We are committed to offering Snapfish customers the ultimate in choice and convenience when it comes to printing their digital photos and gifts,” Ben Nelson, Snapfish by HP’s general manager, said as part of the announcement.
“Our relationships with Walmart and Duane Reade extend our reach and leadership in the print-to-store category, making our prints available for pickup in more than 10,000 retail locations nationwide.”
