Indianapolis, IN—Harman technology Ltd., the manufacturer of Ilford photographic film, darkroom paper and chemicals, appointed Roberts Distributors, LP, as the new distributor of its products in the United States.
The appointment marks the expansion of Roberts into the photo distribution market with Ilford Photo as their flagship brand. Roberts is currently a leading photographic retail and e-commerce company based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
“We feel that our years of experience in the photo specialty retail space and our deep understanding of shipping and logistics through our current sales channels makes us the best choice to service Harman technology and provide a smooth transition for their customers,” said Bruce Pallman, general partner of Roberts. “We understand the photo channel and the importance of getting it right. The distribution services provided by Roberts will also cover Kentmere and Harman-branded products, as well as those from Paterson Photographic Equipment and Agfa Color Film. The supply of product will commence in early January 2018.
